The working group was established under the State Commission for combating illicit trafficking of industrial products and held its first meeting under the chairmanship of the head of Rosstandart, head of the IWG Alexey Abramov.
Among the major topics discussed was the question of the development of testing facilities for agricultural machinery, self-propelled machines and other types of equipment.
Deputy Director of the Department of agricultural, food and road construction machinery of the Ministry of industry and trade Maria Elkina has noted that there is a shortage of laboratories that can carry out all necessary tests in accordance with technical regulations. This complicates carrying out of works on conformity assessment of equipment requirements.
According to Vyacheslav Pronin, such tests are the only barrier that will separate counterfeit products from the Russian market. They need to expand and strengthen the monitoring of the suppliers of machinery. Required to develop specific options for the development of laboratory facilities on the basis of proposals from the manufacturers, Association "Rosspetsmash", Minpromtorg of Russia and Rosstandart.
Created by decision of the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov Interagency working group should become an effective platform for the development of mechanisms to combat trafficking industry and specialized engineering.
"Participation in this work a wide range of authorities, business, industry associations and experts will allow to find effective mechanisms for the resolution of problems in this area.
