In Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan plans to build a sugar factory

Construction of a sugar plant in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan is planned to begin in 2020, said the Deputy akim (head) of the city of Aksu Monty Musin reported on 17 January, the Agency "KazTAG".

 

The Deputy head of the city noted that the area for construction of the plant is already determined. The regional authorities have thought through the question summarizing communications to the future of the object. In particular, currently is conducting a project for the construction of transmission lines.

Musin added that the approximate cost of the plant will amount to 37 billion tenge ($98 million). The design capacity of the enterprise will make 100 thousand tons of sugar per season. The plant will operate 250 days a year.

 

As reported IA REGNUM, at the end of 2018, the volume of sugar production in Kazakhstan amounted to 283 134 tons, which is 23,9% less than in 2017. Sugar consumption was compensated by imports.
