The issues of improving soil fertility, including carrying out liming on agricultural lands are discussed in the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation during the videoconference with the regions.

In the work took part the Minister of agriculture and food of the region Dmitry Filippov, heads of agricultural enterprises, stations agrokhimsnab and regional organizations, engaged in supplying limestone.

During the meeting first Deputy Minister of agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Hatuov noted, in 2019 it is planned to significantly increase in the area of work in this direction. In addition, for soil deoxidation can only be applied meliorate, registered in the state catalogue of pesticides and agrochemicals.

Planned payment-30% of expenses of agricultural producers from the Federal budget to carry out liming of acid soils.

In the Ryazan region, according to the stations of the agrochemical service of 1448,6 thousand hectares of arable land 1076,0 thousand hectares (74.3 percent) are acidic soil, including 457,2 thousand ha or 31.6% strongly and srednekislye soils, which require liming.

In the last two years in the region has intensified this work. In 2017, the liming conducted on an area of 1438 hectares in 2018 – 5200 hectares (for comparison, in 2016 – 479 ha). In the past year to promote the interest of agricultural producers in carrying out agrochemical melioration of acid soils from the regional budget was subsidized by 70% of the costs incurred.

According to the Minister of agriculture and food of the region Dmitry Filippova, the support of the agrochemical melioration of the Federal budget will allow to significantly increase the volumes of work conducted in the region. At the moment, Ryazan agricultural producers announced in 2019 agrochemical melioration of the area of about 30 hectares, has begun to develop design estimates.
