Production technology by combining the "explosive autohydrolysis" and hot pressing
Technology of processing of waste of plant origin for the production of composite building materials has been developed by scientists of Altai state technical University, reported on 24 December, the press service of the University.
The developers note that the technology combines techniques "explosive autohydrolysis" (processing under pressure and high temperature) and hot pressing. The process allows to obtain materials from straw of cereals, husks, husks of wheat and oats, bark and greens of the coniferous. The resulting waste can be extruded without the use of adhesives.
The University explained that the resulting material meets all the standards applicable to traditional MDF and Chipboard panels, in addition, due to the ease of production, they have a low cost and environmentally safe.
