According to the information-analytical system "Argus", the volume of imports of agricultural products regulated by the Rosselkhoznadzor for the period amounted to approximately 58,27 thousand tons.
The bulk of imports came in four product groups: "Vegetable products" (35.7 million tons, 61,3% of the total share of imports), "Milk and dairy products" (more than 7 thousand tons, a 12.1%), "Meat and offal" (more than 6 thousand tons, a 10.8%) and "Fish and seafood" (almost 5 thousand tons, 8,5%).
According to the UNE "Argus" last week, Russia imported a total of 416 tons of eggs (0.7% of total imports) 3.88 thousand tons of feed additives (6,7%).
Among meat products, the maximum share in the import was meat (more than 2 thousand tons), poultry meat (1.4 thousand tons) and pork (1 thousand tons).
In the period from 14 to 20 January 2019 17.8% of products were imported from the countries of the Eurasian economic Union; and 5.1% from Asia – Pacific economic cooperation; 3.8 per cent from EU countries. The main countries – trade partners were Paraguay (60,4%), Belarus (16,0%) and Faroe Islands (2.8 per cent).
Delivery of products to the territory of Russia in the period under review was mainly carried out by road and sea transport. The volume of car traffic grew by 11.91 thousand tons. For sea (container) transport had of 7.17 thousand tons, the volume of bilge marine transportation amounted to about 38,19 thousand tons, railway transport had 0,98 thousand tons, air transport – a 0.02 thousand tons.
