General Director of OOO "Ptitsefabrika Mezheninovskaya" Fedor chalecki said that the first phase of the plant will annually process 15 thousand tons of raw materials. In 2020, will start the second phase, the capacity of which will amount to 45 thousand tons of raw materials. In addition, the plant can process soybean, flax and other oilseeds.

The company plans to acquire the line for filling oil for retail sale. The cake is used as feed in animal husbandry.

The new company creates a guaranteed market for the crop farms in the region. At the moment in the region and rapeseed fields cover an area of 20 thousand hectares. In 2018 the gross yield of rapeseed amounted to 20.4 thousand tons.
