The representatives of the Ministry of agriculture held a series of meetings with stakeholders. The Ministry also appealed to the participants of the transport market - from the shipper to the recipient with a proposal to strengthen the control over compliance with legislation at each stage of the supply chain.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of agriculture jointly with the Ministry of transport plan to find solutions to problems that have arisen in the market of road transportation of grain. About "unacceptable conditions" for road carriers in transportation of agricultural products, especially grain, reported the national Association of road freight transport "Gruzavtotrans". Appropriate letters sent to the government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of transport, Ministry of agriculture, Federal Antimonopoly service, and also published on the website of the Association.

The main problem stated in the Association, due to the fact that traders are "forced" transport company to transport grain with an overload of two to three times to save on transport costs. Truckers "are on these violations for fear of losing contracts and revenue," the letter says. Cost carriers are growing, because the vehicle at constant overload wears out faster.
