"Miratorg", the largest beef producer in Russia, has invested more than 7 billion rubles in creation in Kaliningrad region of 11 farms for the breeding of cattle specialized meat breeds Aberdeen Angus and in 2019 plans to increase the total population to 80 thousand animals. In connection with the expansion project, the company will increase the amount of forage, increasing the area of corn and grasses by 20% compared to the 2018 year – to 17 thousand hectares.
Modern technology is applied at all stages of agricultural production: in the preparation and processing of soil, sowing and harvesting campaigns fodder. In 2019 "Kaliningrad meat company" will purchase for these purposes, about 40 units of self-propelled agricultural machinery, attachments and towing equipment: modern tractors, disk harrows, feed mixers, balers, and equipment for repair shops.
"Technical equipment of the plant division is one of the key factors of high yield farmland and increase production of natural feeds. Hay, haylage, corn silage, grown in ecologically clean regions with the observance of soil conservation technologies, provide normative weight gain of the animals, as well as guarantee the sustainability of the final product – beef.
