The rest of the week at United grain company (UGC) will be the new CEO, said three people who know it from the core of officials and employees of the company.

The current acting head of Sergei Korolev, the post will be replaced by Deputy Minister of agriculture Dmitry Sergeyev, specify the interlocutors "Vedomosti". Directive of his appointment is already there, said one of them.

In a press-service of the Ministry of agriculture "Vedomosti" said Sergeyev continues to work as a Deputy Minister and the documents of his appointment as CEO of UGC were reported to the Ministry.

State-controlled UGC created in 2009 on the basis of the Agency for regulation of the food market. The company is an agent for the management of state grain intervention Fund. The jewel in its asset – Novorossiyskiy Kombinat KHLEBOPRODUKTOV (NGP), Russia's largest grain terminal with handling capacity of 6.1 million tonnes per year. In the fall of 2012 during the privatization of a blocking stake in the company was bought by the owner of the Summa group Ziyavudin Magomedov. He paid for 50% minus one share in UGC 6 billion. After the transaction, and until the autumn of 2018, the company is led by people close to "Amount" and Magomedov.

Ziyavudin Magomedov and his brother Mohammed from March 2018 under arrest. They were accused of fraud, embezzlement in especially large size and the organization of criminal community. They guilt do not recognize. As noted by two friends with top managers of Summa and UGC, one of the episodes of the case is associated with UGC. Last fall, once again to replace the head, UGC – instead of Mikhail Kiyko he was a former Deputy Minister of agriculture Sergey Korolev.

Sergeev – man team of the current Minister of agriculture Dmitry Patrushev: he worked eight years in the Russian agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank) to the post of Deputy Chairman of the Board. The Minister wants to obtain operational control over the state UGC to not only reprimanded, but actually responsible for asset and develop it, says one of the sources.

Prior to joining RAB Sergeev five years working in various positions at VTB, follows from his biography on the website of the Ministry of agriculture. VTB yesterday, February 12, became a shareholder of UGC. The Bank received a package of Magomedov in the grain of the company's debts. Previously these shares were pledged to the Bank, explained earlier, the representative of VTB.
