In the South prices have continued to decline - minus 300 rubles to the previous week, to 12 400-12 500 rubles, in the Volga region - minus 500 rubles, to 10 of 500 rubles.

In Siberia prices remained at the level of 9 500-9 700 rubles per ton.

Procurement prices of food wheat (protein 12.5 percent) in the deep-water ports fell by 250 roubles to 12 900-13 200 rubles per ton. "Low water" the drop was 200 rubles, up to 12 800-12 900 rubles. At the same time, major exporters have suspended purchases in ports due to the lack of new contracts, said experts.

According to the center, export prices for Russian wheat with delivery in March-April from March 5 to March 12 fell to a 4-month low and amounted to $221 per ton. That's $4 less than the previous week. The bid price fell below the level of $220 per ton.

As the head of the center Igor Pavensky, the situation on the world market can change several tenders planned for the coming weeks. "Tenders are expected from Tunisia, Algeria, Bangladesh, Turkey, this may contribute to the strengthening of prices on the world market," he said.
