The course lecturers told us about the European and German legislation in the field of food security, risk management tools, the current development of German scientists in the area of authentication of food products, information systems and systems of alerting the public about the falsification of food products.

Organizers of the course held for the students on a tour of a fish processing plant in order to familiarize with the risk control system implementation and the work of local bodies of veterinary and sanitary control.

Of particular interest to the fgbi "VGNKI" are developments of the German Institute of max Rubner by definition of falsification of food products. In recent years, foreign scientists of the Institute developed an innovative quality control methods of various beverages, definitions: vegetable protein (soybeans, oats) in the milk, region of origin, the difference between conventional eggs from organic, add in meat products foreign proteins. Heard on the course and lectures will be useful to improve methods to identify fraud, developed by the fgbi "VGNKI".
