Russia increased its exports to Azerbaijan by 12.5% to $1.7 billion in 2018. This is stated in the materials of the Russian export centre (REC).
The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 13.8% and reached $2.4 billion In the Azerbaijani market employs over 750 joint ventures. Almost 300 of them capital is 100% Russian, more than 450 companies operate in the form of a joint venture, said the head of the REC Andrey Slepnev.
"In 2018, the REC was supported by the Russian export to Azerbaijan totaling about $284 million," — said Slepnev TASS.
For the period from January to September of 2018, the import of Russian goods to Azerbaijan amounted to about $1 billion 252 million, which is 20% more than the same period of 2017. In the total volume of imports of goods in Azerbaijan the share of deliveries from Russia had 15,84%.
