"Last year we collected 20 million tons of oilseeds. Right now we can see: the required output to 33,5 million tons of oil raw materials by 2024," she said, speaking at an oil conference Thursday in Moscow.

According to the national project "the Export of agricultural products," the exports of oil and fat industry is expected to increase in 2024 to $8.6 billion.

The Ministry of agriculture has developed a plan for advancing export development, one of the main components of which is devoted to the oil and fat industry, said Oksana LUT. The plan contains targets for the production of oilseeds in the regions takes into account indicators of "major manufacturers on which we rely from the point of view of export logistic routes".

Among the main tasks facing the industry to achieve the target of exports by 2024 - an increase of production of raw materials, opening of export markets for Russian companies and increase their efficiency. "A separate issue - certification of products over which companies operate, we provide relevant support," - said Oksana LUT.
