In the Rostov region, consumer prices in March rose 0.5% from the beginning of 2019 inflation in the region amounted to 1.7%, according to Roscomstat.

According to the territorial body of state statistics. the food prices in March in the don region increased by 0.9% (YTD — 2.4%), nonfoods — by 0.2% (year — on 0,7%), services rose by 0.3% and 1.8% respectively.

In the group of foodstuffs, the highest increase in prices recorded for fruit and vegetables (5.6%), cereals and legumes (1.8%), butter and pasta (1.3%). The decline in prices was observed for eggs (4.8%), meat and poultry (0.6%), fish and seafood (by 0.3%).
