Tatarstan can increase the volume of grain transportation by river transport
Farmers of Tatarstan suggest to increase the volume of grain transportation by river transport, informs a portal "Tatar-inform" with reference to the Deputy of the state Duma from the Republic of Airat Khairullina.

Airat Khairullin said that the cost of transportation of 1 ton of grain from Tatarstan to Novorossiysk by rail now costs 3.5 thousand rubles, while transportation along the rivers and navigable channels in the same direction is worth 2 thousand rubles.
In his opinion, the money saved could be used to increase the wages of agricultural workers.
Also Airat Khairullin noted that the grain transportation by river transport will revive the river fleet of the Republic of Tatarstan.
