Spring grain crops were sown on an area of 9.9 million hectares or 33.4 per cent of the forecast area. From them spring barley was sown on the area of 4.3 million hectares, or 55.1 per cent of the forecast, spring wheat and 2.1 million acres or 16.9 percent of the forecast, the maize – 1.4 mln ha, or 53.1% of the forecast, Fig – 88,9 thousand acres or 46.2 % of the forecast area. Sowing of sugar beet (factory) is conducted on the area over 1 million hectares or 88.9 % of the forecast area.

Sowing of flax was performed on the area of 7.1 thousand hectares or 15 % of the forecast area. Sunflower planted on an area of 2.7 million hectares or 34.2 % of the forecast area. Sowing of soybean was carried out on the square 655,9 thousand hectares, or 21.5 per cent of the forecast area.

Sowing of spring rape conducted on the area 311,2 thousand hectares, or 21.9% of the forecasted area. Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted in the area of 72 thousand hectares or 22.4% of the forecast area. Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on an area of 43,1 thousand hectares or 23.4% compared to the forecast area.
