Experts said the reasons for rising prices for bread in Russia

The main reason for growth of prices for bread in Russia was the rise in price of wheat and flour, said RIA Novosti the representative of the Association of producers and suppliers of food products "Rusprodsoyuz" Irina nagaytseva.
According to her, the reasons for this were developed in August — September last year. However, "Rusprodsoyuz" already said that it is necessary to adjust the price list, however due to the lengthy procedures for coordination of changes in the prices manufacturers were forced to raise the cost of raw materials, added nagaytseva. According to Rosstat, in April, inflation rose to 0.3%, beginning in 2019 — 2%. Per week (23-29 April) 1.1%, prices for wheat, 0.7% — of pork, 0.4 percent, mutton 0.3% margarine rice and caramel, 0.2% for beef, frozen fish, rye bread, chocolate and biscuits.
