The report said that the overall processing of grain during the four months of the current year decreased by 3% compared to the same period of 2018 to 1.6 million tons.

In particular, the flour processed nearly 532 thousand tons, which is 17.4% less than in January-April of last year. At the same time, processing of grains for cereals increased by 1.3% and 64.3 thousand tons, and on a feed - by 5.7%, to 628,8 thousand tons.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to the state statistics Committee, the total grain in 2018 decreased by 4.3% compared with the 2017 year - on-year to 4.9 million tons. In particular, the processing of grain into flour in 2018 decreased by 16.5% - to 1.8 million tons.
