The first data on the beginning of the sowing received by the NSA show that the insurance of spring sowing in the region has already started. Region the first in Russia has applied in previous years on their own initiative measures to provide additional support unrelated to the insured households."

"NSA has a long-term positive experience of collaboration with the Ministry of agriculture of the Rostov region and Southern Federal University, – said the President of the NRA of the Roots of biggov. In particular, in 2016, on the basis of the southern Federal University was held a joint roundtable on agricultural insurance in the framework of the international scientific-practical conference. At present, SFU has a number of works related to innovation in the agricultural sector, and in this regard, NSA and yufu planned three projects. The first relates to issues of breeding new varieties in crop production through the use of DNA marking: agriculture, use varieties that are derived based on the results of the project can enjoy the preferential terms of insurance of such crops. The second direction concerns the development of methods of remote sensing. In addition, a third project will be to increase the level of knowledge farmers don and the entire district about the insurance which may be carried out on the basis of the structure, which was created in yufu".

The agreement of NSA and SFU provides that the parties shall also develop cooperation in the sphere of financial literacy of farmers in the field of insurance, as well as joint implementation of targeted programs of NSAs for the development of agricultural insurance with state support. In particular, joint activities may include joint development and publication of educational-methodical materials, publications in specialized journals and collections, organization and holding of joint workshops, consultations, webinars, and other areas.
