Of these, spring wheat planted on an area of 11.8 million ha or 97.3% of the forecast (2018 – 10.9 mln ha), spring barley and 7.8 million hectares, or 99.7 percent of the forecast (2018 – 7.1 million ha), maize – 2.6 mln ha of 100.6% of the forecast (2018 – 2.6 million ha), rice – 173,8 thousand hectares or 90.4 percent of the forecasted area (2018 – 161.4 m ha).

Sowing of sugar beet (commercial) carried out on an area of 1.1 million hectares or 100.5% of the forecasted area (in 2018, with 1.1 million hectares).

Sowing of flax conducted on an area of 44.3 thousand ha or 94% of the forecasted area (2018 – 36,7 thousand hectares).

Sunflower planted on an area of 8.1 million ha, or 104% of the forecast area (2018 – 7.7 million hectares).

Sowing soybean conducted on an area of 2.4 million hectares or 78.6% of the forecasted area (in 2018 and 2.5 million hectares).

Sowing of spring rape conducted on the area of 1,3 million hectares or 94.4% of the forecasted area (in 2018 to 1.3 million hectares).

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on the square 270,9 thousand ha or 84.3% of the forecasted area (2018 – 270,9 thousand hectares).

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farmer) farms were sown 161,1 thousand hectares or 87,6% of the forecasted area (2018 – 147,5 thousand hectares).
