"Nizhneudinsk, Taishet and Tulun districts of the Irkutsk region affected the agricultural organizations and peasant (farmer's) economy, and Zima to Cheremkhovo areas - private plots. Currently, the affected areas are specialists of rescue services, veterinary services", - stated in the message.

According to preliminary data, the greatest damage inflicted on the agricultural enterprises and farms Tulun district. There are recorded deaths of cattle, horses, suffered production facilities, agricultural equipment, grain crops and vegetables.

"Production facilities flooded in Taishet and Nizhneudinsk regions. Also in Taishet district of the farm flooded, affected the crops of grain and hay. Nizhneudinsk area affected the crops of grain and oilseeds", - stated in a press release.

The Ministry of agriculture of the Irkutsk region established a working group to assist the farmers affected by the floods.

According to 7:00 Friday, 20 settlements of Nizhneudinsk, Taishet and Tulun areas flooded 2 392 thousand houses with a population of 5 thousand 955 people. Due to heavy rains overflowed the banks of the rivers UDA, Biryusa, Ia and Kirei.

In the Irkutsk region since Thursday has a state of emergency. The emergency modes also introduced in Taishet and Nizhneudinsk regions.
