Meeting in the Federation Council held the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee Sergei Lisowski, who also touched upon the issues on improvement of legislation in the field of insurance. The talks were also attended by state Secretary – Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev, head of the Federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance Sergey Dankvert, Director of the Department of plant, mechanization, chemicalization and plant protection of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Roman Nekrasov. The participants discussed the main directions of development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food, stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and best practices between Russia and Germany.

Topics of interest to potential German investors were the measures of state support of agricultural producers and improve the investment attractiveness of agriculture, the questions of forming of export-import potential of interaction with the European countries. Representatives of the German delegation noted that the main task of companies DGL today is to promote scientific and technical progress in agriculture, in the form of the special exhibitions of modern and innovative products, technologies and services.
