The increase in the production of avocado is due to expected growth and the opening of new markets, reports fruitnews.ru. In particular, the fruits will go to South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Mexico.

The Peruvian avocado exports in January-April this year increased by 9% compared to the results of the same period last year.

So, for the above period were exported fruit to 141.9 million dollars.

The main part of the avocado — 51,4% and 17.3% — comes to the Netherlands and Spain. In addition, the Peruvian fruit are exported to UK, China, USA, Russia, Hong Kong, Chile and Germany.
