Imports to China fell by nearly 4%
For the period from January to may 2019, China's imports decreased by 3.7% to $827,87 billion, according to the Agency TASS with reference to the Ministry of Finance of the PRC.
While Chinese exports increased slightly (0,4%) and reached $958,34 billion, but the overall turnover still decreased by 1.6%. One of the main reasons for the reduction of goods turnover of China was the sharp decline in trade with the United States, which grew to 14.5%.
China in the near future intends to take a number of measures to stabilize foreign trade. In particular, it will be reduced some export and import duties.
