Young working engineers and students from leading Russian Universities told why localization of production, as it promotes the transfer of modern technologies to Russia and how the use of modern IT solutions in the engineering enterprise affect the quality and relevance of products.

Also, the speakers explained how to use the technology of machine vision, automation, agricultural machinery, carrying out big data analysis and implementation of artificial intelligence to build Autonomous agriculture.

In addition, the participants of the event demonstrated the potential of augmented and virtual reality on the examples of the application of these technologies for engineering design of agricultural tractor.

The problem of personnel shortage in specialized engineering today is very serious. Her decision is not only one of the most important tasks for the industry, but also the task of national scale. We need a set of measures for the education of the engineers of the future. And this work is already underway.

One of the most important projects on education and training for factories of agricultural machinery and equipment is a national award named after Izhevskogo Alexander Alexandrovich, which in 2017 established the Association "Rosspetsmash" with the support of Ministry of industry and trade.

The winners of the contest have become 18 students from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Krasnodar territory, Irkutsk, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Rostov, Kurgan, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Penza, Kemerovo, Tambov, Belgorod and Samara regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
