Under the agreement, the Acron Group plans to expand the range of fertilizers suitable for use in agricultural production in Moscow region. The company will also provide methodological assistance and train the farmers of the region and to co-operate with specialized regional research institutions to improve agricultural technologies.
Alexander Popov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Acron, said: "the Russian market is a priority for Acron Group. Last year we increased shipments of mineral fertilizers to the domestic market by almost 50%, to 900 thousand tons. In the Moscow region, we provide up to 40% of the market of high-performance fertilizers. I hope that the signed agreement will promote further strengthening of cooperation with local farmers and development of agriculture in the region".
