"Growth is the product group of dry and condensed milk. Their exports grew in may and now continues to lead in the foreign trade in dairy products. So, in June the foreign markets they had sold 6 thousand tons, which was 36.6% more than last year - 4.4 thousand tons", - the press service quoted the words of an analyst of the Association of Vladimir Andrica.

According to the Association, in the reporting period, the growth of supply was noted in the group of milk and cream not concentrated, the export of which increased by 4.6% compared to June of last year and amounted to 1.7 thousand tons. At the same time, noted in a press-service, the volume of exports of other groups of milk products decreased significantly.

"Especially sharply reacted export oriented group, in particular the oil trade which was reduced to 1.5 thousand tons, which is 61.3% less than in June 2018, and by 148% than in 2017. The global market of oil is now significantly influences the European proposal and price. So, for the period from January to may 2019 European manufacturers produced 973,9 thousand tons, which is 1.5% higher than the production last year", - noted in press service.

Thus, according to the Association, the average price across Europe to the oil amounted to about 4.2 thousand per ton, which is a third lower than last year. The press service added that also reduced the export of cheese - 40.4% compared to June last year, to 372 tons. In addition, exports of whey decreased by 41.6% and amounted to 1.8 thousand tonnes.

As UNIAN reported earlier, according to customs statistics, Ukraine in 2018 exported 8 thousand tonnes of cheese, which is 8% less than in 2017. Imports of cheese in Ukraine over the past year increased by 37% - up to 13.7 thousand tons.
