The volume of imported finished food products (canned meat and fish, frozen foods, dairy foods) amounted to 15,479 thousand tons (13,07%), fish and seafood – 14,699 thousand tons (12,41%), feed and feed additives – 13,560 thousand tons (11,45%).

The total volume of products exported over the period amounted to more than 118 thousand tons.

These data were obtained by employees of the Federal state budget institution "Russian state Center of quality and standardization medicines for animals and feed" (fgbi "VGNKI") as a result of analysis of information-analytical system "Argus".

Over the past week 5,589 thousand tons were imported from Eurasian economic Union countries; from countries in the Asia-Pacific economic cooperation – 1,401 thousand tons; EU – 8,429 thousand tons.

Delivery of products to the territory of Russia in the period under review was mainly carried out by sea and road transportation. Marine (bilge) transport had 70,889 thousand tons. Container shipping is approximately 18,008 thousand tons, motor transport – 25,392 thousand tons, rail transport – 4,094 thousand tons. The volume of products imported to Russia through aviation, amounted to 0.34 tonnes.

Recall, the main type of imported products subject to veterinary supervision, during the second week of July 2019 was also plant products – 34,366 thousand tons (44,61%). The total volume of products exported over the period amounted to more than 77 thousand tons.
