Veniamin Kondratiev said that today Kuban – Garant food security, the region with a powerful agro-industrial complex.

– The development should be progressive, all the resources we have. Today, the export of Kuban products has reached significant volumes, recruited a good pace. And a record grain harvest gives us confidence in the performance of assigned tasks, – stressed the head of the region.

The Minister of agriculture and processing industry of the region Fedor Derek reported that six months of this year exports of agricultural products amounted to more than 700 million U.S. dollars.

– Bulk grain exports began in July and will continue until the end of the year. With the beginning of the year increased the supply of export-oriented products – butter and fat and milling. They grew by 17%, – said the head of Department.

Fedor Derek recalled that according to the project by 2024 it is planned to increase exports of agricultural products to $ 3.8 billion or 46% to 2018. Products with high export potential in the region defined by the grain, oil and fat, grain mill and starch syrup production.

– Potential for production increase there. In 2019 we plan to introduce no less than 3.4 thousand hectares of reclaimed area, which will allow to grow additional export oriented products, the Minister said, adding that this year financing of the regional project is 1.1 billion rubles.

Also during the meeting discussed regional project on creation of system of support of farmers and development of agricultural societies.

Its funding in 2019 allocated 118 million roubles, of which 113 million – the Federal budget, and 4.74 million – boundary. The program provides, including the growth of farmers involved in small and medium enterprises, increase in the number of newly established SMEs in agriculture.

– Today I see the dynamics. In General, all figures are objectively positive. There is a team that can achieve results, the second half of the year the most stressful. It is necessary not to slow down the pace, – the Governor summarized.
