The region also has one of the oldest trout enterprises of Russia.

There are grown purebred breeding and fish seed trout of the Kamloops, a total of about 39 tons. Fish seed is supplied in Saratov, Tula, Belgorod, Ulyanovsk, Leningrad region, Dagestan, North Ossetia, Karachay-Cherkessia and other regions of Russia.

The range of products in the Stavropol territory is presented mainly live and chilled fish. Dried fish and fish hot and cold smoked is produced in small amounts (up to 100 tons), as well as canned.
