From 9 to 12 October in Moscow at VDNKH will host the traditional annual Russian agricultural exhibition "Golden autumn-2019". Within the 21-th exhibition "Golden autumn – 2019", the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation jointly with the National organic Union, with the support of the German-Russian agro-political dialogue will hold the traditional panel discussion on the theme "Organic agriculture in Russia on the eve of the entry into force of the Law on organic production".

The panelists will discuss the readiness of the market for organic products for the entry into force of the law on organic production in 2020, as well as the necessary steps that need to be done to ensure that the law is fully operational, filling the domestic market of certified organic products and for the recognition of Russian organic matter in the world.

The event will be attended by the heads of relevant Federal and regional authorities of Russia, international and Russian experts, leading Russian producers, representatives of retailers and the media.

In discussion will take part, including Maxim Avidov, Deputy Minister of agriculture of the RF, Geyer of Bernard (Germany), Executive Director 1987-2005 and Ambassador of the International Federation of movements for organic agriculture (IFOAM), Ayna Kusainova, Deputy Director of the Department of agroindustrial policy of the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC), Ilya Kaledin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of group of companies "Arivera" (Republic of Mordovia), Maxim Protasov, head of the ANO "Russian quality system", head of the Technical Committee of 40 "Organic products" of Rosstandart Alexey Alekseenko, adviser to the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, and other market experts.

The results of the discussion can become a basis for further actions to accelerate the transition of the Russian organic production to a qualitatively new level.
