The session participants discussed the main factors of successful business development and determining the potential of rural areas, state support mechanisms for integrated development of villages. In the framework of the forum the teams of the 10 pilot villages presented a business plan for the development of their territories.

"We agreed that small towns villages and towns – will be among the participants of the onf project "Village. The territory of development". They also created team that will help in creating programs for the development of their territories, to inform them about the support they can get under the state programs, and Vnesheconombank, which helps the projects of single-industry towns," – said Ogloblina.

Deputy Chairman of "VNESHECONOMBANK.Of the Russian Federation", the General Director of Fund of development of monotowns Irina Makieva said that the Fund is ready to share with onf their experiences on development of monoprofile municipalities of which the organization had built up over five years. "According to our experience, we should first of all based on regional power and to use contemporary approaches in the development of rural territories to increase the number of activists of the project and attract potential investors," she said.

The meeting noted the low level of awareness of rural population about existing programs of state support. The solution can be the inclusion of heads of rural settlements in awareness programmes on the basis of the centers of competence of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation. "Now the work is only with farmers and business leaders, but in the future we plan to participate in informing and heads of local self-government", – said the acting head of the Department of rural development of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Renata Bibarsov.

The experts were of the opinion that the state most in need of endangered villages, where there is a large outflow of population. "There also live the enterprising people who want to develop their territory and work in his native land. They particularly need help and support, because, as a rule, nobody hears them. You need to rely on the local community, and in the future, we have the experience in the framework of the onf project will spread to thousands of villages," – said Ogloblina.

At the end of the meeting participants asked the experts questions on the development of their settlements. Their experiences were shared by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Ryazan region Dmitry Filippov, head of the Directorate for the development of agricultural cooperatives Corporation "SMEs" Elena Dubinchuk and Director of the research Institute of agrarian problems and Informatics Alexander Petrikov.
