First Deputy Minister of agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Hatuov noted that the Novosibirsk region — one of regions in Russia, which fulfills and even exceeds the performance capacity of export volumes recorded in the regional project "the Export of agricultural products".

In 2018 the export of agricultural and food products from the Novosibirsk region has reached 180 million U.S. dollars (32 million above the projected figure). In 2019, the planned annual value of 174 million dollars was reached in November.

In the structure of exports is dominated by ready-made food products: about 40%. Cereals and oilseeds are exported to Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Belarus, Lithuania and Latvia. In 2018, at exported 459 thousand tons of grain crops (6.5 times above the level of 2017, in 19 times above the level of 2016).

The share of meat and dairy products in the export still accounts for about 4%. In plans — to increase the supply. Currently, OOO "Siberian Academy of dairy Sciences" building a plant for the production of a wide range of dairy products. Its main volume is planned to supply to China: hard, semi-hard cheeses, both UHT and ESL products milk and cream, butter, dry demineralized whey. By 2024, the plant has to deliver 63 thousand tons of products per year for export.

Export-oriented and products will be two newly built Novosibirsk poultry farms: Ulybinskaya — growing ducks and INDUS-Siberia — for the production of Turkey meat. In Cherepanovsky district built a new meat processing plant.
