"Work on this issue is from September, the question was repeatedly raised in a number of events," said Executive Director of the National organic Union (NOSE) Oleg Mironenko.

Federal law "On organic farming" comes into force on 1 January 2020. According to him, producers must obtain a certificate from accredited organizations and today part of the relevant services could be supported only by the Voronezh branch of FSUE "rosselkhoztsentr".

"The only question is, when will the certification body, and when the snow melts (to make the test in the field) to physically address the situation with the transition of these companies," explained Mironenko.

Thus, the producers believe that without the necessary grace shelves in Russian stores can be empty because they will remove the goods, certified by the EU standards.
