Excerpts from the review:
 
PRICES. In the period from 01.01.2019 for 26.12.2019 domestic producer prices for chicken and pork showed a downward trend. According to departmental monitoring of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia, since the beginning of 2019, the average price of chicken meat in slaughter weight declined by 11.3% and amounted to 104.1 RUB/kg is less than on the corresponding date in 2018, of 11.4%. Producer price for pork in slaughter weight in the period from 01.01.2019 for 26.12.2019 decreased by 16.4%, to of 132.4 RUB/kg, which is below last year's level of 15.7%.

Estimates of the fgbi "Center Agrobaltika", the highest offer continues to keep prices for these products low. This week with 19.12.2019 for 26.12.2019 prices remained fairly stable and did not fall, except for the cost of chicken meat (slaughter weight), which decreased by 1.4 rubles/kg.
 
EXPORTS. In the period from 01.01.2019 22.12.2019 for the stable growth of exports of pork and poultry meat in terms of value. According to the Federal customs service of Russia, exports of pork (including offal) from the beginning of 2019 has made 127,3 mln. USA, which is 8.9% more than in the same period last year.

Estimates of the fgbi "Center Agrobaltika", height is associated with an increase in exports in real terms at a relatively stable value products. The reverse situation is observed on the market of poultry meat (HS code 0207): in value terms, the supply of these products to foreign markets grew by 66.5% due to the growth of export prices by 51.7%, and with increasing volume of exports in real terms by 9.8% compared to the year 2018.
 
PRODUCTION. According to preliminary estimates, the production of pork in Russia in 2019 may grow by 2.9% in real terms relative to the level of 2018, the volume of poultry meat production also may increase by 1.3%.
