Russian agricultural Bank has become the first operator of the project, having signed an agreement with the Ministry of agriculture and by the issuance of preferential agricultural mortgages at a rate not exceeding 2.7 per cent in personal insurance.

As shown by statistics of Ivanovo branch, the average size of the loan application in the framework of preferential rural mortgage is 1.4 million rubles. This is 36% lower than the average for Russia (2.2 million). The minimum application in the Ivanovo region amounted to 272 thousand rubles, and a maximum of 3 million rubles.
