GK "Evrodon" was one of the largest producers of turkeys. In 2016, the group began to experience financial difficulties.

VEB.Russia, as the main creditor of GC "eurodon" has received control over the enterprise in 2017 after the previous owners are unable to service the debt. Since February 2019 the company has introduced a procedure of observation. VEB.Russia has assumed operational management of the company, held a reorganization of the GC "Evrodon".

The agricultural Bank in its work with non-core assets in the first place solves the problem of their preservation and actively implement the strategy of financial recovery of enterprises. This approach allows to reduce volumes of production and processing of agricultural products, and retain jobs in rural areas.

"For agricultural Bank as the reference Bank of the Russian agroindustrial complex improvement of the company is the first priority. We are interested in fast restart of the production of GC "eurodon". Currently, the interest in buying of the asset showed several profile investors. We will consider all the proposals and made the decision that will be optimal for the company and the industry as a whole", — said the First Deputy Chairman of JSC "Russian agricultural Bank" Irina Gutkina.
