In addition to representatives of NSA and Berries of the Union the conference was attended by experts of FSBI "Federal scientific center im. I. V. Michurina" and the insurance companies-members of NSA: JSC SK "Rosselkhozbank-Insurance," and "absolute Insurance". The round table was also made by the heads of berry enterprises in the Moscow, Tambov, Lipetsk oblasts, Stavropol Krai, republics of Bashkortostan, Crimea and other regions of Russia.

The initiator of the debate Berry, the Union expressed interest in the development of the tools insurance coverage and willingness to participate in the development of proposals for changes in the legislative and normative bases of insurance. The branch Union is concerned about the presence in the Russian regions weather risks that pose a threat to berry of all types – open ground, tunnel gardens and greenhouses.

"Held a two-hour exchange of views with the heads of berry farms was the first step in the interaction of the NSA and berries for the industry – says the President of the Union of the Roots of biggov. According to the NSA, over the entire period of action of the Federal law "On state support in agricultural insurance" N 260-FZ of ensuring insurance protection of berries on the conditions of state support was carried out in the Tambov and Voronezh regions, in Primorsky Krai, the republics of Sakha (Yakutia), Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkaria. NSA is ready to extend full support and cooperation to preserve Union in the organization of insurance coverage".

According to the Union for the year 2020, in 8 years of action of the Federal law No. 260-FZ insurers undertook berry farmers insurance payment in the amount of 1.6 million rubles of Payments were made in Yakutia and Voronezh region.

According to the Federal law No. 260-F3 "On state support in agricultural insurance", in Russia in the framework of a centralized system the government provides support to risk insurance of crop, livestock and commercial aquaculture. From 1 January 2016 at the market of agricultural insurance with state support is a single national Association, the national Union of agricultural insurers.

In 2018, the Law "On state support in agricultural insurance..." №260-FZ changes were made, the purpose of which were the flexibility and the diversity of conditions present. The law came into force on 1 March 2019.
