Including in the southern Federal district spring sowing carried out on an area of 4.7 million hectares or 83.1% of the forecast, in the North Caucasian Federal district – 1.7 million hectares, or 90.8% of the forecast in the Central Federal district of 8.2 million ha, or 87.5% of the forecast, in the Volga Federal district – 12.8 million hectares, or 82.1% of the forecast, in the Siberian Federal district – 8.4 million ha is 69.3% of the forecast, in the Urals Federal district is 2.6 million hectares, or 60.7 per cent of the forecast, in the North-West Federal district – 242 thousand hectares or 52.5% to forecast in the far Eastern Federal district – 937,2 thousand hectares or 39.6% of the forecast.

Spring grain crops in the whole country was sown on an area of 23.3 million hectares or 80% of the forecasted area (2019 – 21.8 million hectares).

Of these, spring wheat was sown on the area of 9.7 million hectares-or 79.4% of the forecasted area (2019 – 7.8 mln ha), spring barley – 6.8 mln ha, or 86.1% from the forecasted area (2019 – 6.6 million ha), maize – 2.7 million hectares, or 97.2% of the forecasted area (2019 – 2.4 million ha), rice – 159,2 thousand hectares or 80.7% of the forecast area.

Sugar beet (factory) were sown 922,6 thousand hectares, or 97.6 percent of the forecast area.

Flax planted on an area of 25.7 thousand ha or 52,8% of the forecast area.

Sunflower planted on an area of 6.9 million hectares, or 85,6% of the forecast area.

Spring rape was sown on an area of 1 million ha or 77% of the forecast area.

Soybeans planted on an area of 1.87 million ha or 58.9% of the forecast area.

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on the area 206,5 thousand hectares or 66,9% of the forecast area.

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on an area of 124.2 thousand hectares or 67% of the forecasted area (2019 – 119.1 thousand hectares).
