Including in the southern Federal district spring sowing carried out on an area of 4.8 million ha or 83.9% of the forecast in the North Caucasus Federal district – 1.7 million ha of 90.9% of the forecast in the Central Federal district – 8.3 mln ha, or 88.3% of the forecast, in the Volga Federal district – 13.3 million hectares 85.2% of the forecast, in the Siberian Federal district 9.2 million ha or 75.5% of the forecast, in the Urals Federal district – 2.8 million ha or 65.7% of the forecast, in the North-Western Federal district 252,7 thousand ha or 54.8% of the forecast in the far Eastern Federal district – 1 million hectares or 44% of the forecast.

Spring grain crops in the whole country planted on an area of 24.4 million hectares, or 83.7% of the forecasted area (2019 – 23.1 m ha).

Of these, spring wheat planted on an area of 10.2 million hectares or 83.7% of the forecasted area (2019 – to 8.9 mln ha), spring barley – 6.9 million ha, or 88.5 per cent of the forecasted area (2019 – 6.8 million ha), maize – 2.7 mln ha, or 97.9% of the forecast area (2019 – 2.5 million ha), rice – 160, 9 thousand ha or 81.5% of the forecasted area.

Sugar beet (factory) were sown 922,9 thousand ha or 97.7% of the forecast area.

Flax was sown on the area of 31.1 hectares, or 64% of the forecast area.

Sunflower planted on an area of 7.1 million ha, or 87.5% of the forecast area.

Spring rape was sown on an area of 1 million ha or 79.9% of the forecast area.

Soybeans planted on an area of 2 million hectares or 62.4% of the forecast area.

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on the area of 215, 4 thousand ha or 69.7% of the forecast area.

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on an area of 127,4 thousand ha, or 68.7 per cent of the forecast area.
