Including in the southern Federal district spring sowing carried out on an area of 4.9 million ha or 86.6% of the forecast, in the North Caucasian Federal district – 1.7 million hectares, or 95.2% of the forecast, in the Central Federal district 8.9 million ha or 94.6% of the forecast, in the Volga Federal district – 15 million hectares or 95.9% of the forecast, in the Siberian Federal district 11.5 million hectares or 94.4% of the forecast, in the Urals Federal district – 4 million ha, or 91.4% of the forecast, in the North-Western Federal district – 300,9 thousand hectares or 65.3 per cent of the forecast in the far Eastern Federal district – 1.4 million ha or 59.2% of the forecast.

Spring grain crops in the whole country was sown on the area of 28.3 million ha or 97,2% of the forecasted area (2019 and 27.1 million ha).

Of these, spring wheat was sown on the area of 12.2 million hectares, or 100% of the forecasted area, spring barley and 7.6 million ha or 97,2% of the forecasted area, corn for grain and 2.8 million hectares, or 103,4% to the forecast area, rice – 183,6 thousand hectares or 93% of the forecast area.

Sugar beet (factory) were sown 930,5 thousand ha or 98,5% of the forecast area.

Flax planted on an area of 44.8 thousand hectares, or 92.1% of the forecasted area.

Sunflower planted on an area of 7.8 million ha or 96.1% of the forecast area.

Spring canola is planted on an area of 1.1 million ha or 87.7% of the forecast area.

Soybeans planted on an area of 2.4 million hectares or 75.6% of the forecast area.

Potatoes in the agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on the square 256,4 thousand ha or 83% of the forecast area.

Vegetables in agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) planted on an area of 153,9 thousand ha or 83% of the forecast area.
