Recall that two new corrective signal SATCOR with a precision of 5 and 15 cm support of systems GPS and GLONASS, and compatible with the European GALILEO. From 2019 they may be taken on any side of terminal S7 or S10 (released 2018), installed on the machines CLAAS: tractors, grain and forage harvesters. Signal SATCOR 5 is best suited for works requiring high precision when determining the position of the machine, for example, for planting ordinary seed drill or other works on the crops, the cultivation of which it is important to follow a certain sequence and the distance between lanes. Maintaining high precision movement technology is especially important for powerful tractors, such as AXION, working with wide-cut implements. So, breeding in the Bryansk, Kaluga and Penza regions involved tractor AXION 930, and in Krasnoyarsk region – AXION 950. Machine cultivated fields under winter wheat, barley, spring and winter rape, soybean, and treated the seedlings with the use of various implements. Measuring the area of fields was carried out in the office using the GPS signal with an accuracy of +/-5 cm the Work was carried out on plots ranging from 100 to 190 ha.

When performing all types of works: seedbed preparation, fertilizing, sowing, spraying - the use of the correction signal SATCOR 5 allowed to accurately and automatically maintain a predetermined trajectory with a deviation not exceeding 5 cm as a result, the working speed is increased to a level that ensures maximum performance. Thus, presowing treatment of the soil with a tractor AXION 930 soybean at 5 cm depth was performed with a speed of 15 km/HR and a productivity of 10.7 ha/h. Similar performance was AXION 930 and areas under spring rape at depth 2.5 cm – 17 km/h and 16 ha/h.

Work on planting spring rape to a depth of 1.5 – 1.8 cm passed at a speed of 8 km/h and with a capacity of 10 ha/h. Even higher operating speeds showed a tractor AXION 950 on the sowing of wheat and barley, 14 and 15 km/h depending on weather conditions. In all cases the accuracy of the signal SATCOR 5 were +/- 5 cm

Thus, high precision and stability of the correction signal SATCOR 5 ensure high efficiency of spring field works, which were completed in the shortest possible time. During the demonstration, the experts also stressed that the use of S10 allows you to simultaneously control both the movement of the tractor and planter settings via the ISOBUS connection that e facilitates the operator's job.
