This will allow large farms to increase efficiency and speed of cleaning, especially in difficult areas, when large yield or high humidity. New combines X9 X9 1000 and 1100 became the flagship X-series and output performance combine John Deere to a new level. Advantages of this series confirms the DLG silver medal "For improving the performance of large harvesters" at the Agritechnica-2019.

Harvester X9 1100 allows to achieve extremely high performance at harvest wheat – 100 tons per hour, and loss of grain is less than 1%. "When conditions change, the processor X9 can automatically adjust, allowing it to constantly run at peak performance," says Jonathan Edwards (Jonathan Edwards), Manager, John Deere product marketing.

This capability is provided including at the expense of the widest on the market of the inclined chamber, which is equipped with harvesters X9. The efficiency of harvesting is also enhanced thanks to the new dual rotary separator and the largest in this category the grain, which increases throughput.

"The plant mass comes from the inclined camera and very evenly fed flow accelerator herringbone type dual rotary separator X-Series Dual Separator (XDS). This is the most active large section of the threshing and separation in the practice of John Deere. The plant mass in them is processed in nine turns, which reduces losses and delivers higher efficiency," adds Edwards.

Of 3.51-metre rotor separator XDS are based on time-tested modular concept combines S-series with special sections for threshing and separation. The separation section is equipped with special "fingers" that can help you extract the last remaining grain from the plant mass, which improves performance in difficult conditions.

Purification system Dyna-Flo XL with an area of 7m2 - 36% more compared with the S-series. Thanks to the new fan it cleans 45% better than than the S-series. All this allows to guarantee the highest quality of grain and says that the new processors an order of magnitude better previous models and is able to cope with even the most difficult harvesting conditions in different climatic zones of Russia.

Combines the X-series also are cost-effective: they are able to work up to 14 hours without refueling due to the new 13,6-litre six-cylinder diesel engine John Deere PowerTech 700 HP (515 kW). As popular self-propelled forage harvesters series 9000, model X9 is also equipped with a powerful belt drive system HarvestMotion, which reduces fuel consumption by 20% and increase torque by 30%, and reduces the number of revolutions per minute.

1250 litre fuel tank model X9 is filled in less than 2.5 minutes with the new system Fast Fuel, the filling speed is up to 550 liters per minute.

Thanks to the revolutionary developments in the field of transmissions, the processing plant mass, water cleaning systems, and Xcel knives for chopping straw of the requirements for the power supply dropped to 120 HP (86 kW), while the performance of the processor increased.

It is worth noting also the XL ProDrive transmission, through which torque is increased by 30% in comparison with the existing system ProDrive for hilly terrain, and work in conditions of high moisture and dirt. It provides speed up to 40 km/h, and also controls engine speed to 1700 rpm. In transmission ProDrive XL features unique to this sector the technology of dual pump (double pump technology system), which both pumps begin to operate when starting the engine that provides maximum torque figures. With increasing forward velocity and reduce the required torque capacity of the second pump is reduced, which reduces the consumption of energy and fuel.

Model X9 has an enhanced cabin design, presented in three versions: Select, Premium and Ultimate. The cabin is equipped with a number of new features: a heated ventilation system, with a massager built into the seat, etc. LED lighting as standard allows to work at night comfortably and in the framework of the Ultimate pack as option available led headlamps on the wings.

Model X9 is also equipped with a full package of on-Board technologies, and depending on configuration can be set AutoMaintain, Active Terrain Adjustment and Active Yield.

JDLink telematics system available for free on both models for two years, which provides machine-to-machine interaction and data transfer. System John Deere Connected Support opens up additional opportunities for service with alerts, Expert Alerts, a unique option for the sector. The system records periods of potential downtime due to breakdowns and solves problems before they occur.

Grain hopper model X9 1000 holds 14.8 per thousand liters, and grain hopper model X9 1100 – to 16.2 thousand liters at a speed of unloading up to 186 litres per second. Folding unloading auger conveyor with an adjustable visor available for combines X-series in several sizes.

Combines X-series is available in two versions – wheeled and tracked – and overall width in transport position is less than 3.5 meters. Dealers of John Deere in Europe will start to accept orders for new processors X-series later this summer. In Russia, these harvesters are expected to be available in 2022. More detailed information can be obtained from your local dealer or on the website JohnDeere.com.
