As noted by the head of the Center of agricultural insurance "Rosgosstrakh" Vadim Konstantinovich, our leadership has provided individual clients, insuring agricultural animals in personal farmsteads. This is historic for "Rosgosstrakh" insurance services: the company offers villagers a special program "the Cow" which provides payment in the event of death or forced slaughter of animals because of illness, accident, fire, natural disaster. The program also covered the risk of loss of the animal as a result of illegal actions of third parties (theft). Program demand: at the end of 5 months the number of such contracts in "Rosgosstrakh" has exceeded 14 thousand.

However, among clients of the company there are many large agricultural holdings: "Rosgosstrakh" part of the national Union of agricultural insurers, the membership of which gives the company the right to conclude insurance contracts with state support. For five months of this year accrued premium on contracts with state support amounted to in "Rosgosstrakh" almost 295 million rubles, which is 2.3 times more than in the same period last year. Of these, 17.8 million rubles — this is the premium livestock and 277 million roubles of the award in crop production. Insured with state in "Rosgosstrakh" the area of crops of agricultural crops for the specified period is more than 239 million hectares, which is 2.6 times more than in the same period last year.
