The Ministry of agriculture appealed to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with the request to compensate for from the Reserve Fund the damage caused to the farmers of flood in the Far East. This was announced by the head of the Ministry Dmitry Patrushev in the framework of a meeting at the crisis centre of the emergencies Ministry. So, according to him, the main share of the affected crops were not insured, so the legislation does not allow to fully compensate them for the damage. "I would like to request to compensate still from the Reserve Fund 100% of the money from what they suffered, taking into account features of the Reserve Fund", — said Patrushev Putin (quoted by kremlin.ru). The head of state, in turn, instructed to report as soon as all payments are received.
