In the period from 23 to 28 September this year, the fgbi "VGNKI" – Junior researcher of the Department of molecular biology Anastasiya Shoediva and researcher of the division of Bahtygul Vetoshnikova – passed the training course in sekvenirovaniya new generation (Next generation sequencing, NGS), held in the city of Peterhof. The course "basics of new-generation sequencing and interpretation of NGS data in clinical practice" was organized by St. Petersburg state University (SPbSU), with the support of the company "Elbogen". The Ministry of agriculture has prepared amendments to the law "On veterinary medicine" and a number of other laws providing for "withdrawal of authority to implement state veterinary oversight at the Federal level." The corresponding bill published on the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts. According to it introduced the concept of the Federal state veterinary supervision, which will be implemented by authorized Federal Executive bodies. This provides for the ability to delegate part of their powers to the authorities of the regions.
