Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, after the meeting of 3 August on the problems of agriculture, instructed to study the question of imposing restrictions on the keeping of livestock and poultry in the personal podobykh farms (LPH). The text of the instructions published on the government website.

As follows from the document, appropriate changes can be made to the legislation of Russia. Question asked to examine the Ministry of agriculture jointly with the Ministry of economic development and Ministry of Finance, and proposals should be sent to the government before September 23, 2015.

This is the instruction of the head of the Cabinet was a response to the statement of the Governor of Stavropol territory Vladimir Vladimirov, who lamented, coolmetal that the country's private sector are not determined by clear criteria.

"There are people who allegedly kept private farms, whose flock is 14 thousand sheep steers under 1.5 thousand, and they too are members of private farming," said Vladimirov.


He added that to Stavropol territory the norm would be to limit to five head of cattle and 20 sheep. In this regard, Vladimirov asked to amend the law "On personal farms" 112-FZ changes - to impose restrictions.
