According to agricultural producers, interest in the culture is heated to high market price. Prices on buckwheat support companies engaged in the export of this culture in the Baltic States, China and Japan.

In the Altai branch of the fgbi "Center for grain quality assessment" since the beginning of this year turned 98 applicants to confirm compliance with quality and security crap.

Experts of Test laboratory of the Altai branch was registered on 192 samples from the 22 to the registration of the Declaration of conformity to technical regulations of the Customs Union.

After the laboratory issued a quality certificate to send the 27 thousand tons of buckwheat in Lithuania, Japan, China. In 2016 it is planned to plant in the Altai region buckwheat in the order of 490 thousand ha. This is 5.3% more than last year.
