August 1, 2016, the Ministry of agriculture of Russia begins preparations for conducting state purchase interventions to regulate the market of agricultural products, raw materials and food in relation to the grain harvest in 2016, the press service of the Ministry.

As reminded in the Ministry, in accordance with the Rules of exercising state purchase and commodity interventions, approved by the resolution of RF Government of 3 August 2001, No. 580, their organization is carried out by the Ministry of agriculture.

"In preparation for the interventions Department contests will be held for the selection of organizations – keepers of grain in 2016, designed and approved changes to the rules of trading and also conducted competition for the selection of an insurance organization," the report States.
