From June 2016 the index reached the highest. Over the years it has increased by only 1.6%.

Problems in logistics at American ports together with the intensification of trade operations, giving rise to added quotations wheat 3%. The increase in maize prices was negligible. Strong demand gave the possibility to maintain price stability.

Not superfluous to recall that the last forecast for world wheat production in 2017 should be around 744,5 million tons. This value is lower by 1.8% than in the previous year, but above the annual average for the last 5 years.
